About GFA
Girls First Academy
GFA was launched in 2018. The aim of GFA is simple to increase the participation levels of girl's football in the Tees Valley area. Our academy has grown from 1 session of 6 girls to now over 40 members attending over 5 sessions per week. We cater for all players regardless of ability or experience. We use a carefully designed curriculum which runs throughout the year with each month a new topic to help build all aspects of our players. We do not run teams and are simply an option for players both with or without a club to develop in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our coaches
…share between them 20 years' experience of in the female game from foundation right up to higher levels of the female game. All our coaches are driven and committed to raising the levels of all players. Our coaches are all licensed with the FA or UEFA which allows us to cater for the demands of our players.
